Following up from today's meeting with this message to the mailing list.  The FOLIO Product Council has a little bit of structure in place to ensure important topics get a wide audience within the FOLIO community.  The FOLIO Forums are a bi-weekly webinar where speakers from the FOLIO community give updates and insights on important parts of the project.  The Forum Facilitators SIG is the group that organizes and runs these webinars, and each special interest group is asked to have a representative on the Facilitators SIG.

Activity in the Facilitators SIG is pretty light-weight.  We meet once a week (Wednesdays at 3pm Eastern U.S. time) to arrange upcoming forums and coordinate activities.  Once every other week volunteers from the Facilitators SIG help run the bi-weekly webinar, serving as a host or as the technical support behind the scenes.

It is important to have broad participation in the Facilitators SIG so we know when important topics are coming up and know who can speak about them.  It is also a good way to see what is happening across the FOLIO project at a high level.
