Hello, all.
The feature freeze for core modules is Feb. 26. We have one thing that we've discussed, which is changing a User's expiration date when their patron group is changed. We have been happy with the function as it's been written up here:
and the last thing we wanted to do is discuss changes to the text in the pop-up. The first is changing "Recalculate" and "Cancel" buttons to "Update" and "Don't update." The second recommendation was to clarify the text. Two possibilities came up in Slack:
- “Users in the patron
group ‘staff’ usually expire 730 days from now. Do you want to update this user’s expiration date?”
- "Library
membership for the patron group staff is 730
days. Do you want to update this user’s expiration date to March
1, 2023?"
If we can come to a decision on this one, then the last bit of this function request could be locked in before the feature freeze.
As far as I know, we don't have other active feature requests. If I'm wrong, please let me know and I'll put it on the agenda. Otherwise, I think we have some other requests and user stories we should prioritize for the next sprint.
