All,

I am unable to reproduce the first problem.  Here’s what I did:

  1. Logged in as User A and navigated somewhere specific (Settings > Licenses)
  2. Logged out
  3. Logged in as User B

Outcome: I was logged in at the landing page (not Settings > Licenses)

Note: if your FOLIO bookmark is a deep link to a specific page, you will be taken to that page regardless of what user you are logging in as (assuming the user has permissions to view the page).  Perhaps that was happening here?  If you want to go to the landing page every time, your bookmark should be clean (e.g. https://folio-snapshot.aws.indexdata.com/ vs https://folio-snapshot.aws.indexdata.com/users/view/251cfa92-24a7-45db-9f0d-acd2da450b50?filters=pg.staff&sort=name)

If you are still able to reproduce the problem, please file a bug.

I am also unable to reproduce the second problem.  I am using Chrome (the only FOLIO-supported browser at the moment) and there is no auto-complete in Users.  If you are still seeing this issue, please file a bug and include a screencast.

Thanks,

Cate

Hi Tania,

Thanks for your email.

The former is almost certainly an error in need of fixing.

The latter is probably the browser's default behaviour, which we might need to override if it is causing issues (i.e. I do not think anyone actively enabled this functionality — it just happens if the browser is set up to do it)

Best regards

Hi all,

I see two issues listed on the UI issues discussion page that I'm not sure if follow up is needed.  Did they ever get posted on Slack?

Last session screen is remembered. even if a new person logs in.

Either bring up on development slack channel, or create a user story

It was agreed that this was not a good outcome, but we don't know if it was ever brought up as a requirement before.

Auto-complete function in the Users app remembers words/terms from previous sessions. Perhaps we shouldn't have auto-complete in Users app?

Either bring up on development slack channel, or create a user story

As above, it was agreed that this was not a good outcome, but we don't know if it was ever brought up as a requirement before.
