I’ve been working with this, and I’ve discovered that Folio will (at the current time) list everything together in that drop-down menu, whether it’s a permissions set or an individual permission.  I prefer to define a permissions set first.  Then, since you know its name, you will be able to find it in the Drop-Down Box of Eternity and add it to a user.

Subject: Applying permission sets to an individual user

Hi all,

We are working on the gap analysis here at Duke. It appears like there is no way to apply a permissions set to an individual user through the GUI. You can apply individual *permissions*, but not permission sets. Is that correct, or am I missing something? If it’s not there, does anyone know if it’s captured in an existing Jira? My searching did not uncover anything.

Thanks!

Erin
