Hi Maura,

I think the backend lookup in #1 would be helpful and worth pursuing.

For #2, I seem to recall a Voyager mapping to user.json.type in one of the FOLIO data mapping spreadsheets - need to look into that...

Kind regards,

Phil

Subject: Agenda items for tomorrow's meeting

Hello, SIG members.

I have a couple of discussion items for our meeting tomorrow.  They are:

1.       At present, it’s not possible (or, at least, not evidently possible) to assign permissions to a user without knowing their UUID, which can be looked up in the users API.  Would we be interested in advocating for having a piece of the backend doing this lookup for us?

2.       I got a query from TAMU asking about the data field user.json.type.  I’ve never heard of it, and a cursory look at the documentation didn’t get me any better information.  Does anybody know what it is? Has anybody assigned any data to it in their user loads?

Does anyone else have any discussion items for tomorrow?  If those are the only two discussion items, we may have a quick meeting tomorrow.  Which is not a bad thing.
