Hi all!  This is a tough group to get together.  There are only 4 days when Ingolf (our new convener) and Wayne (the person we realized at the last meeting really needed to be there) are both available.  Of those days, there is one time when 10 people are available—this means 2 people are not.  The meeting will be scheduled for December 7 at 10:00 am New York time.  I will get this meeting on your calendars shortly.

Dear Sys Ops & Mgt SIG,

 

I am happy to report that we now have a new convener.  Ingolf Kuss from hbz has agreed to lead us effective mid-November.  Ingolf is currently the convener of the Reporting SIG.  He will be relieved of that duty by Cornell’s new hire, who is filling the position left vacant when Lydia Pettis (the original Reporting SIG convener) retired.  Ingolf, thanks so much for stepping forward. 

 

As such, I would like to schedule our next meeting for after Ingolf has taken over as convener.  I have too much going on to fill this role in the meantime.  In an effort to avoid the Thanksgiving holiday, I have set up a new Doodle Poll that covers November 30 – December 15.  This time I have included the “if need be” option.  Please try to be as flexible as possible.

Welcome!  We met once in August and then our convener left the project.  I am working on finding a new convener and will be setting up a meeting shortly.  Look for a Doodle Poll soon.
