This is the Jira ticket
https://issues.folio.org/browse/UXPROD-976 The status is set to OPEN. I myself have not received specific information from my reps from this subgroup on “how” this will work. I believe that this is still being worked out. The data import group can answer
questions you might have. It seems that Laura is on this subgroup on an as needed basis (If it is the same Laura!
😃 ).

Subject: OCLC Connexion and FOLIO
Hi,
A question came in from Laura Wright regarding OCLC Connexion and FOLIO, and I’m wondering if anyone on the SysOps SIG is familiar with the issue
and where it may or may not stand in the project.
Our Cataloguing team wants the ability to export a single record from OCLC Connexion into the local system (sometimes referred to as "export"
and sometimes as "import"). This is to be able to view a record in OCLC, select the "Export" command, and thereby push that record into the local system.
In Cornell’s Voyager setup there are a couple of steps to retrieve, preview, and then actually import the data. In Sierra the record automatically
imported, following a default mapping (configured in Sierra, not configured in OCLC). While treating individual records in the same way we treat batches of records is theoretically possible, in practice this would be so clunky we might have a cataloger mutiny.
This may not be the right SIG for the question, but does anyone have insights on OCLC export/import and how that would work in FOLIO?
Thanks,
Phil
