Hi Everyone,

The WOLFcon Planning Committee is currently accepting nominations for the Community Recognition Awards.  Please read the statement below and nominate peers within our community that you feel are extraordinary!  We acknowledge all of the hard work that is happening across this community around the FOLIO effort, while extending this opportunity to elevate and encourage those that have gone the extra mile.  Please share this broadly across our community.

Simply reply to this email with your nomination(s).  The WOLFcon Planning Committee will announce nominees at one of our opening sessions.  The deadline for nominations is this Friday, May 4th at 5pm.

Community Recognition Awards for WOLFcon 2018-Spring

The Open Library Foundation is grateful to the many people who contribute to our projects. Your efforts and dedication power the work of our communities. We believe that open discourse in a diverse and inclusive community will better identify and characterize challenges and opportunities faced by the library community, and enable paradigm-shifting solutions. Your openness and generosity, your collaborative spirit, and your commitment to shared success is a powerful engine for innovation and practicality. Observers have noted that our engaged and energetic community is the “secret sauce” of the Foundation.

On the occasion of the inaugural OLF conference, our community wishes to establish the WOLFcon Community Recognition Awards. These awards are given in recognition of exemplary contributions, model community behavior, and dedication to our shared efforts. There are many people deserving of recognition and thanks for the daily contributions and concessions required by our projects. You all set a high bar for the extraordinary. To that end, these recognition awards are given by the community to recognize excellence among our own colleagues.
