Hi RM SIG members,
Since the Madrid meeting several SIG members have asked us about,
when it would be possible to get hands on, and try out the FOLIO
system. These past months I have done several demos of the different
apps, but hand held demos isn't the same as for SIG members to try
out for themselves.
It has therefore been agreed that FOLIO Alpha, which was presented
back in Madrid in January 2018, can be opened for the SIG members to
try out and play with.
The purpose is to give SIG members who are directly involved in
the day to day work with requirements work and the development of
FOLIO a change to get familiar with the FOLIO system, get more
practical experience with the different apps, and learn more by
being directly involved in the iterative UX and development
process.
FOLIO alpha is as you all know Work-in-progress - so it's
important to acknowledge, that:
- FOLIO Alpha is an early pre-pre-release
- FOLIO Alpha is not regression-tested
- FOLIO Alpha is buggy and things are still looking more rough
compared to the fine looking UX prototypes on e.g. ux.folio.org
- FOLIO Alpha can be down due to upgrade of software and
maintenance
