So far, feedback I’ve gotten is to cancel tomorrow’s meeting, so I am doing that. For those of you going to D.C., have a productive meeting!

There may be opportunities for the rest of us to join in online. You can see the schedule here: https://foliofaceface2019.sched.com/. If you want to join in a conversation, sign up for Sched, and then on the right click “zoom”=yes or “zoom”=maybe. You will see the meetings for which there will be a way to join in online. You can add meetings to your schedule that.

Thanks!

Kristin

Subject: [folio-rm-t] Jira review update AND should we meet tomorrow?

Hi folks,

Updates to SIG Feature Review Process

I just got off the Product Council meeting where we spent the majority of the meeting discussing the Jira review. Holly Mistlebauer and the Capacity Planning Team shared a detailed process for how the SIG should review the Jiras that I think will be helpful for us to follow.

This new plan will be systematic, PO-led, and cover all issues where there is a Go-Live or First-Quarter ranking by an institution. We will discuss as a SIG, and SIG member will then put proposed rankings into the spreadsheet. Your institution’s implementation team will ultimately update Jira as needed. If there are questions or comments, clarifications, etc. that need to be entered into Jira, I volunteer myself to be the recorder.

Based on this new plan, I will work with the POs in the different areas to get the Jira reviews scheduled. This review will happen after the in-person meeting. If you made comments or updated your rankings in the spreadsheet, please recreate those comments and revised rankings in Jira. This spreadsheet will get replaced. Julie, I did already make some comments on the potential duplicate issues that you flagged and shared over email.

Do we meet Friday?

I believe that Dennis is out tomorrow (I’m trying to verify), and with planning for the F2F, we will not officially start this process until after the F2F. I’m thinking June 28, but will need to verify with POs. We can still meet if there are questions regarding this process that we could take back to the Capacity Planning Team. I can also take questions over email/Slack, or y’all can discuss next week in person. Do you want to meet tomorrow to talk about this or would you prefer to cancel the meeting? I’m open to what the group would like to do.
