Hi all. We should rely on the UX/UI experts to show us the best way to implement patron blocks, based on our needs. I believe our needs are to make the patron blocks highly visible, clear, and easy to get details about. I have been working on some mockups that I will present tomorrow. The UX/UI experts will take the mock-ups you approve and come back with what they think will work best, which I will show to you. I think we can come up with a solution that will make everyone happy.
Thanks,
Holly

I’m a little leery of trying to change the design of the Loan screen so fundamentally, especially when we hope that most users won’t have blocks. Would another option be to list the blocks in the pop-up modal (as previously discussed) and then have a blocks count in the patron section? Then clicking on the number would take you to the user record and the detailed blocks section we discussed adding to that screen? That seems more in line with how we’re handling data like fines, etc.

What do others think?

Best,
David
