Hi,

We won’t be meeting on Monday 5/15, but will be meeting on Thursday 5/18.

We’ll be continuing our conversation about needs and related use cases around locations.   We’ll try to focus on:  need for/problems with many to many relationships between circ desks and shelving locations, potential uses for ‘processing locations’, opportunities for building support for future needs (e.g. floating collections, shared collections) as related to locations.

For those of you who missed today’s meeting (or just want to relive the joy) a recording is available at: https://zoom.us/recording/play/OLyWPJj_zqEPsj3oLz_jwNk1ZIlhtY468e6fIZQZafF1X64lqjTmEQMt6Xh3a-J-

Some background for today and next Thursday’s discussion is on our wiki at https://wiki.folio.org/display/RA/Circulation+components  (chart labeled “Location Hierarchy”).

Mark’s notes from today’s meeting and Charlotte’s notes from 5/8 are also available in the wiki.

Thanks all,

Andrea
