Joanne,
That’s a great question. I assume we should count pseudo-patrons since regardless of whether there are any blocks on those accounts, FOLIO would have to be running the same item level checks against those accounts.
Holly, is that understanding correct?
Best,
David

Holly,
For these figures, should we include pseudo-patrons in determining the results (those might include Borrow Direct, Interlibrary Loan, other processing cards)? Or should we limit it to actual human patrons? (In
general, our processing cards tend to have much larger max checkouts than our human patrons.)

Subject: Item Block Survey
Importance: High
Hi RA SIG! I have created a survey related to Item Blocks at
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QXtfnSO-VPPRdkhcLgZwrc70JmhFaIFVX6pDPqLz4xc/edit?usp=sharing
I need to hear from the sites implementing in 2020, but would also like to hear from the other sites. Each institution has a column for providing answers and I have included a column with sample answers to show what I am looking for.
Please compete the survey by Friday, January 24, if at all possible. I know many of you will be a WOLFcon, but I believe the survey can be completed by folks who remain at your institution.
Thanks much,
Holly
P.S. I am also sending this email to the PC to catch those institutions not represented on the RA SIG.
