By way of background, rather than codifying two models/definitions as we had started to do last week, we felt it would be useful to develop a matrix of "consortial needs", which we could then use to identify similarities among consortia that might map into distinctive "types" of consortia.

I've added some initial requirements/needs for USMAI (we have many more!). Please take a look and add other needs as rows and then indicate if it is a need for the consortium you represent.

Don't worry about duplication or overlaps of needs at this point. We'll need to do some merging and organizing once this is more fully developed.

We won't be meeting on 9/20 due to many absences, so we'll plan to discuss this at our 9/27 meeting.
