Hi All,
David Larsen and I coordinated with some folks at the Ivies Plus to write a one page summary of our BTAA D2D report. I have shared it with a number of other consortia. The email is below.
Please feel free to share the report with others in your state, at your institution, within your university system, wherever.
The BTAA directors have endorsed this and we are seeking other endorsements so that the document becomes an agreed upon standard that we can also point vendors to the document as they develop products.
Questions, ask me.

Subject: BTAA Next Generation Discovery to Delivery Systems: a Vision
Hi All,
The Big Ten Academic Alliance has created a one page summary document outlining a vision for a Next Generation Discovery to Delivery System. It’s based on the BTAA November report with input from Peter Collins and Brad Warren from Borrow Direct while David Larsen and I contributed from the BTAA. Please feel free to share the link widely with others in your institution, state, in consortia you belong to and basically with whomever you think might benefit from seeing it.
The document is here:
https://www.btaa.org/docs/defa
This document, we think, speaks to common issues that all our libraries face and also goals for vendor product development from which we will all benefit. To this end, the Borrow Direct group will be endorsing the document and others should feel free to do the same.
Let me know if you have any questions.
-Kurt
